Action Figures

in the 70's the Shindana toy co. released an action figure named "Slade" with a striking resemblance to "Shaft" at the height of the "Shaft" popularity.

The reason being this figure was named "Slade" and not "Shaft" was that the co. simply didn't want to pay any big licensing fees to the copyright owners of "Shaft" and "Slade" was born....

I recently acquired a "Ghetto Prince" figure that was clearly modeled after "Super Fly" and safe to say that "Super Fly" it is!

Manufactured in a very small ltd. amount this sold out immediately. Good luck on finding one. I'm glad I was able to scoop one up early. Comes complete with a bag of heroin...
